Better Driving, Better Living: Demand a Safety App from Insurers.
Dear Insures,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my interest in a new feature that I believe could greatly benefit both your customers and the company. As a concerned policyholder, I am always looking for ways to improve road safety and reduce risk associated with driving. With the increasing use of smartphone usage while driving, I believe that an app designed to track and discourage phone usage behind the wheel could be a valuable tool. Such an app would not only promote safer driving habits but also potentially reduce the number of accidents and claims, benefitting both drivers and the Insurence companies. I have noticed that while many Insurence companies offer telematics programs that monitor general driving behavior, there is a gap when it comes to specifically tracking phone usage. By implementing this feature all Insurance companies could position themselves as a leader in innovative safety solutions, attracting new customers who prioritize safety and retaining existing ones who value proactive measures. I am confident that this initiative would be well received by your customer base and would contribute to a safer driving environment for all. I kindly urge you to consider developing an app that tracks phone usage while driving, and I would be more than willing to participate in any pilot programs or provide further feedback to support this endeavor.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Kimberly Loucks

Why is this important?
Here are some reasons why you should sign my petition:
1. Safety first: Distracted driving is a major cause of accidents. An app that tracks phone usage can help reduce distractions and make roads safer for everyone.
2. Lower Insurence rates: If Insurence companies can monitor and verify safe driving behaviors, they might offer lower premiums to drivers who avoid using their phones while driving.
3. Accountability: Such an app can encourage drivers to be more responsible and accountable for their actions behind the wheel, leading to safer driving habits.
4. Community Impact: By reducing the number of accidents caused by distracted driving, the entire community benefits. Fewer accidents mean fewer injuries and fatalities.
