Cancel Trenton School District's policy

We should be able to have our phones for multiple reasons. One example is last year our school had to go into lock down for 5 hours AFTER school hours until roughly 5pm. if that were to happen under this policy this year, there would be absolutely no way to get in contact with parents or guardians. It is very important because if that would have led to something more serious, there would be no way for students to inform their parents or guardians that something life threatening could be happening. Even with the generic warning that the district sends out, with little to know details, there is no 100% way for guardians to know what is going on and whether or not their child is in danger.
