**Help Keep Jensen on his football Team**
I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart. My son, Jensen, is facing the devastating reality of being removed from the sports teams they've been a part of for years. These teams have been more than just a place to play; they've been a source of joy, growth, and cherished memories. Now, due to recent rule changes and a mere couple of days' difference in age eligibility, our family is facing an emotional and mental strain right before the school year starts.
Jensen, my middle son, has been an integral part of his team for years, building strong bonds and improving his skills alongside his friends. The sudden rule change means he will no longer be able to play with the teammates he has grown with.
As a parent , this situation is heartbreaking. All they want is to continue playing the sports they love with their friends.
I URGE you to empathize with our situation and imagine how your own children would feel if they were abruptly taken away from their teams and the sports they are passionate about. Please sign this petition to help us keep Jensen and Jamesson on their teams. Your support means the world to us and can make a significant difference in the lives of my boys.
Please note that he was already registered when these rules were changed. I understand what the PAL policy is for the 2024 season as I have understood the policies in previous seasons. Last year, when the age cut-off was the same, my son Jensen was grandfathered in because the policy had just changed and he was already registered . Why can this not be honored again for this season?
