Call for Renewable Energy Action in the City of Ottawa, Canada

Our city of Ottawa has a tremendous opportunity to lead the way in sustainable and renewable energy practices. As concerned citizens, we recognize the urgent need for change in our energy sources. Our current reliance on fossil fuels harms our environment, contributes to climate change, and poses significant health risks to our community. We believe that Ottawa can and should transition to cleaner, renewable energy sources for the benefit of our environment, our health, and our future.

We call on the City of Ottawa to take bold and decisive action in transitioning to renewable energy sources. Allocate resources to support the development of renewable energy projects, including solar farms, wind turbines, and hydroelectric facilities. Establish incentives and policies to encourage renewable energy adoption among residents and businesses. Collaborate with local organizations and experts to create a comprehensive renewable energy plan for our city.
