Keep Santa Bob on his Sleigh (Golf cart)
Bob, known to many as “Santa Bob,” has spread joy and cheer throughout the Holland Heights, lifting spirits and becoming a neighborhood favorite. Santa Bob rides his golf cart throughout Holland Heights chatting with neighbors, providing golf cart rides to children, and biscuits to doggies. He has a caution triangle on the back of his golf cart, pulls over for traffic, and is always conscientious of those surrounding him. He was recently told he was not allowed to ride his golf cart because the area was “too heavily populated.” Santa Bob has safely been riding his golf cart for multiple summers without incident prior to this warning. This petition is to allow Santa Bob to continue with his rides and visits throughout the neighborhood that have provided countless neighbors joy.
Why is this important?
Bob has been as asset to the community, providing support, hope, and cheer. Denying him the right to spread joy is simultaneous to denying Santa Claus the right to fly over the city providing gifts to children. Disabling Bob is not only hurting him but the countless neighbors who look forward to his smile and kind word. We need more Bobs in this world!
