Major Richard Star Act

We have been advocating for a bill that would right the wrong of veterans that were medically retired and force out of the military at no fault of their own. These veterans do not enjoy the full benefit of retires who completed 20+ year of service. We would like Congress and the Senate to act on this by passing the Major Richard Star Act (HR 1282). There's over 300 cosponsors of the legislation. Most veterans now believe that politicians are using vets as pawn to receive votes. Lets not prove them right, please pass HR 1282.

Why is this important?

Many veterans that are qualified for this bill can not work because their disability; which makes it hard for them to support themselves and their families. Some veterans have fallen victim to the housing market because they are not able afford a suitable place to live therefore becoming homeless. Elected officials can change this by moving this legislation forward to the desk of the President of the United States to be signed into law.
