We seek to have traffic signals installed at North Bridgeland Parkway and Bridge Cove as well as House Haul and North Bridgeland Parkway replacing the 4 way stops. This measure will increase safety at these intersections as well provide traffic flow with increased traffic caused by North Bridgeland Parkway connecting Fry Rd and Grand Parkway. This will assist in the flow of traffic around Pope Elementary with the proposed transportation changes for the 24-25 school year.
Why is this important?
The safety concerns have been demonstrated on Bridgeland Creek Parkway with the numerous accidents with increased traffic flow. We have been reactive in the installation of traffic signals . With the proximity of the issues to a school and the potential impact it is important to be proactive.
