Petition To Allow Ohio Technical College Students Allocated Parking Spaces In The Lot

To whoever this may address:
     I feel it is imperative that we come to a reasonable and well grounded solution to the problem at hand. We are all aware that the parking situation at The Creekside Residency has been a problem since the students have moved in, but many of us feel as if that is not our fault directly for the cramped and unfair parking. Many casual tenants are found to have people come and spend the night, taking parking spots, or even double parking and taking up multiple spots. I am not trying to place blame on one party or another, but I feel as if since we are all residents paying to stay and live in the apartments, we should all have a proper place to park our cars there. I propose that we have a set number of parking spots set aside for Ohio Technical Students, at least as a temporary solution to the parking problem until a better solution can be found. Even if the amount of spots allocated for our students does not match the number of students who need parking, I feel as if it is a better solution than forcing the student as a whole to remove their cars from the lot. I hope we can come to some sort of solution that involves the students  in the situation as they are the ones being affected. From the conversations I've had with the students most are willing to come to a reasonable solution to this problem. I ask that we work together to come to a solution for the problem at hand so all parties are happy and satisfied with the decisions being made. Thank you.
