According to the JE (Cell phone/ electronic devices policy) for GPSD students aren’t aloud to have cell phones on campus. In my opinion it is a big safety concern. Why? Because we have had many encounters where things have happened on campus where students did not feel safe and have used cell phones to contact parents or guardians. For example: The day where the whole Greenville high school had to exit out of gym doors which took place on May 3, 2024. Every adult was screaming call your rides! Call your rides! So think about it. What if something like that or worse happens again. Would you want to be responsible?
