We want a Costco in Southeast Davidson County. Southeast Nashville is the fastest growing and most populated area of Davidson County. Neighbors residing in the area are highly educated and have over $2.9 billion dollars of disposable income. Additionally, several thousand neighbors commute through our area on the I24, Bell Rd, Murfreesboro Rd and Nolensville corridors daily. We are home to several large churches, community colleges, hockey rink, culinary school, midsize employers and small businesses. We would like to have convenient access to quality goods and services at low prices in the Southeast area of Nashville. Currently, we have to commute over 45 minutes to 1 hour each way to the nearest Costco in Davidson County. Please open a Costco in the Southeast Davidson Nashville.

Critically important opportunity to shift to renewable energy in New Mexico: PNM is being forced to shut down two coal units at the San Juan Coal Plant. PNM wants to replace that power with the purchase of more coal and more nuclear when renewables are currently less expensive and have huge environmental, economic, and public health benefits. This petition calls upon the Albuquerque City Council and Mayor to use their power to push the Public Regulation Commission to reject PNM's proposal for more coal and nuclear and to replace the energy with renewable sources instead.
