• Save the Plant and Help Save the Planet: Build Zero-Emission Vehicles at Lordstown
Closure of the GM Lordstown Assembly Plant would be a disaster for thousands of working families and scores of communities in NE Ohio. The most viable option to prevent plant closure is to echo the call by GM for a zero-emission future through mass production of long-range all-electric vehicles and call for the allocation of the cars of the future at Lordstown.

  • MORATORIUM ON ALL FORECLOSURES IN 2019!
We must stop the Banks from stealing our homes. Yes, I worked at J.P. Morgan Chase and was responsible for doing loan modifications and was witness to unlawful foreclosures. Therefore Congress must stop the Banks once and for all. Have County Records audit titles and send the FBI the forged documents. I have started a book for homeowners to review what is going on in our Courts. https://www.amazon.com/FORECLOSURE-FIGHT-YOUR-BEGINS-home/dp/1071121391?fbclid=IwAR0vGkR5gHVEc933ifwhUO0m6ljICpl5yG3DIyulN4CX1b1Tr7A3Q7IQOeM

  • Shut down the immigrant children's prison
The Trump administration opened the prison in the Texas desert as a model for a string of prisons it wants to build along our border to house asylum seekers and other immigrants. It has manufactured a crisis by slowing the process of reuniting families, causing thousands of children to be incarcerated for long periods of time. In addition to the threat of deportation for relatives in the U.S., the threat that children will be imprisoned is intended to frighten people from coming to this country in the first place. This prison is a disgrace and is contrary to everything our country is supposed to stand for. If allowed to continue, it would set a dangerous precedent and could lead us in a direction that history teaches us we must not go.

  • We need a Green New Deal focused on achieving 100% Clean Energy and Zero Emissions
We need legislation that adheres to science and facts and which enables us to use all possible technological means to combat climate change. We should not allow energy policies having ulterior motives (and fossil fuel bedfellows) to derail united efforts to prevent the worst impacts of climate change. Renewables (because they are intermittent) are increasingly forcing utilities to build natural gas capacity . . . defeating progress reducing emissions. Only 100% Clean Energy standards force utilities to drive down emissions. This means they must pair renewables with other types of clean energy, including hydro, geothermal and clean nuclear power. Let's shut down the RPS backdoor, that has allowed natural gas and fossil fuels to thrive at our climate's expense.

  • Support the Green New Deal
The federal government continues to deny the reality of climate change and refuses to take immediate action to protect the future of humanity. A recent report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change states that emissions must peak by 2020 to limit global warming to 1.5C and then steadily drop. According to the Global Carbon Project, U.S. emissions rose in 2018. Our government is not doing enough to protect us.

  • Wells Fargo Continues Mortgage FRAUD and New Jersey Courts Allow it
My family is set to be evicted on December 14, 2018. The judgement, the foreclosure, the sheriff sale and the eviction were all granted based on Fraud and Forgery being allowed to be committed by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in the courtrooms of Burlington County Judges Kathy Fiamingo and Judge Paula Dow. Judge Dow issued an order for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage to modify the Pick-a-Payment mortgage we had, and Wells Fargo never did. But then Judge Dow ruled against us when we fought this in court and then removed herself from our case. We have all the proof of Wells Fargo and this illegal mortgage, if we can be heard on this matter FAIRLY. People are being foreclosed on ILLEGALLY, as we were. This must be stopped. Wells Fargo Home Mortgage continues to violate their court order to stop doing this. Where is the Justice.

RFK stadium is to be razed in the next couple of years and the mayor and some council members want to see another NFL size stadium at that location. We feel the residents deserve a better experience at the RFK campus all year round.

  • Protect America's Local Community TV Stations From Cable Threat
Cable companies are petitioning the FCC to deduct the cost of in-kind services from the money they pay to community stations. This could mean the end of this vital grass root system of communication which allows citizens to view local city council meetings and election debates. The law needs to stand as it is and thus protect the freedom of speech for our local communities.

  • Put half-days back on Fridays in PSD 202 Schools
Having SIP days or half days on Monday’s are not beneficial compared to them being on Friday’s. Having them on Fridays allows something for people to look forward to where having them on Monday only brings students skipping a day of school.

Sexual assault is a serious offense and these cases keep happening, wherein the assailant is not brought to justice and the victims are left in the cold. Universities claim they take the safety of the student body very seriously. If that is true, universities have a responsibility to keep potential predators off campus.
