Why is this important?
Paul Ryan and Republican extremists just rushed Trump's rejected, train-wreck of a health care bill through the House of Representatives. And now it's even worse. Not only are they trying again to kick 24 million Americans off of their health care, they're now trying to end protections for pre-existing conditions as well.
As infuriating and frightening as the House doing this is, we've always had a better chance at stopping this bill in the Senate. We have a real shot at defeating it there.
We've defeated Trumpcare before, and we know exactly what to do to defeat it this time: make sure that members of Congress hear an immediate and overwhelming outcry from their constituents—so they know that there'll be hell to pay if they vote for this cruel and reckless plan.
