Dear Congress, Rates of health problems linked to toxic chemicals—including cancer, autism, and reproductive problems—continue to rise. For 40 years the chemical industry has been allowed to expose us to toxic chemicals because of a broken federal law. Now Congress is considering a chemical industry-backed bill that might make things even worse! Real reform of our chemical laws means: - swift action to protect us from the worst toxic chemicals; - maintain states’ ability to protect residents from toxic chemicals; - proof that chemicals are safe before they are allowed in products; - protection of communities and people at a higher risk of toxic chemical exposure. Oppose bills that give chemical companies a “free pass” to keep putting toxic chemicals in our products and homes. Instead, please stand up for the health and safety of families everywhere and pass real reform.

Dear Honorable Judge William Steele,  I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention the case of Christopher A. Hunter, who has been unjustly incarcerated for over 31 years. Christopher was sentenced to 73 years in prison at the young age of 18 for a 924(c) charge, which has resulted in a disproportionate and harsh punishment. The problem is not only the length of Christopher's sentence but also the fact that he has spent the majority of his life behind bars. A sentence of this magnitude for a young offender severely limits the opportunity for rehabilitation and reintegration into society. Since his incarceration, Christopher has shown genuine remorse and has actively engaged in educational and rehabilitative programs, demonstrating significant personal growth. I urge you to take action by considering a compassionate release for Christopher. Here are several reasons why this action is warranted: 1. Excessive Sentence: A 73-year sentence for a non-violent offense is not only excessive but also inconsistent with the principles of justice and rehabilitation.  2. Time Served: After 31 years, Christopher has more than paid his debt to society. The time he has already served reflects a commitment to change and rehabilitation. 3. Risk to Society: Studies show that longer sentences do not necessarily correlate with lower recidivism rates. In fact, releasing individuals who have demonstrated reform poses little risk to public safety. 4. Following Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine, thousands of Ukrainians sought refuge in the U.S. through humanitarian parole and Temporary Protected Status (TPS). They have since built lives, contributed to their communities, and remained hopeful for a peaceful future. However, recent reports indicate that President Donald Trump intends to revoke these protections, putting them at risk of deportation. Deporting Ukrainians would be a grave injustice. Ukraine remains under attack, with ongoing destruction and humanitarian crises. Forcing refugees to return to a war-torn country violates America's humanitarian commitments and endangers their safety. We urge President Trump, Congress, Representatives, and the Department of Homeland Security to take immediate action by: • Extending and redesignating Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Ukrainians to ensure they can legally remain in the U.S. • Providing a pathway to permanent residency for those displaced by the war. • Blocking any attempt to revoke existing protections and preventing the deportation of vulnerable refugees. The United States has long stood as a beacon of hope and safety for those fleeing war and persecution. We must uphold these values by ensuring that Ukrainians who sought refuge here are not forced into danger. We demand that you act now to protect Ukrainian refugees and prevent their deportation.

We urge you to ban noncompete clauses, a practice that suppresses wages and limits workers’ options by preventing them from freely changing jobs, negotiating for better pay, or starting businesses on their own.
