Senate bill 1789 is no good for the future of the U. S. Postal Service. It calls for the end of 6 day and door to door delivery. It does nothing to rectify the overpayments and prefunding, which are the cause of the current problems. It aims to close post offices and eliminates thousands of jobs. Shut this bill down now, once and for all. S. 1853 and H.R. 3591 are bills that ARE the solution the the Postal Service's financial crisis and only these 2 bills should be considered.

This is a petition to make a correction the the wording of the Youthful Offender Act for the State of Alabama. The wording "MAY" inform you of your rights, is to be changed to "SHALL" inform you of your rights. This is to correct the interpretation from the courts on the difference between "Shall" and "MAY". The youth MUST be informed of their rights before making a plea!

Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do. 4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. 5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people. 6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people. 7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work. If each person contacts a minimum of ten people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S.) to receive the message. Maybe it is time."You just pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election.

Tell the City of Houston we need their help in protecting our students and residents from high speeds on Crockett Street! We request installation of all or some of the following: 1. Speed bumps on Crockett St. approaching Crockett Elementary (to/from). Cars fly by at 30+ MPH past our young students. 2. Stop sign at Crockett St/Silver St- this is the halfway mark between Houston Ave and Sawyer St where car speeds peak and many accidents have occurred. This is also the main path taken by event goers and pedestrians walking between the two main art studios, Silver Street Studios & Summer Street Studios and other local businesses.

It’s been known for years: white supremacists are present in police departments across the country. Intelligence experts and the FBI have repeatedly sounded the alarm. Yet nearly nothing has been done. Police leadership has turned a blind eye, and police unions have systematically resisted any attempts to investigate the problem and fire extremists. Now we have off-duty officers from around the country participating in an attack on the U.S. Capitol, and some on-duty Capitol police officers—who are supposed to be protecting Congress—helping those mounting the attack. This is insane and unacceptable, and we need leadership willing to acknowledge and address the problem. The time is now. We call on law enforcement leaders to thoroughly investigate the presence of white supremacists and other extremists within their police forces, purge them from their ranks, and strongly resist any attempts by police unions to defend extremist officers and keep them on the job.

Stop ARC/other companies from obligating employees to use their hard earned PTO to cover for lost wages related to 2021 Winter storm.
