In this time of tragedy, people are dying each day without the holy blessing and peace of being given the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Additionally, there have also been some Priests who have suffered and died themselves after coming in contact with a layperson during the last rites or other form of contact during this pandemic. In light of these unprecedented tragedies, please United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, mercifully approve or urgently present to the Holy See the option of offering Catholic Confessions online or via the phone to the faithful.

I am very upset today, our "Federal" government has essentially let us California's know that we are on our own. Thank God we have a solid State Government. What the president and his advisors are suggesting is that we are essentially on "On Our Own”- Re any Federal support, all that we have received has been given to us all due to Governor Newsom’s deft handling of this emergency. So, my question?? why am I paying Federal Taxes? The money I pay to Federal I would be happy to pay to my state. During the period of the Mueller investigation, MoveOn very successfully created and then mobilized "rapid response" teams of Americans to protest when a "triggering event" occurred, such as a threat by President Trump to interfere with the Mueller investigation or fire Mueller. I am asking MoveOn to once again use its powerful megaphone and its organizing network to help Americans form "rapid response" teams and mobilize by the millions to defend our democracy in response to "triggering events" that are attacks on our bedrock constitutional principles and institutions. As individuals, we are terrified and isolated, and we struggle to achieve this kind of mobilization on our own, particularly because Facebook is not a safe and secure platform for political organizing of this kind. We need MoveOn to use its power and resources to help us take to the streets in unprecedented numbers and with unprecedented tenacity. Because only tenacious mobilization by the millions will be able to save our democracy from utter peril.

UPDATE: We did it! Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) and U.S. Representatives Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) and Judy Chu (D-Calif.) introduced the Polluters Pay Climate Fund Act, which requires the biggest polluters to begin paying their fair share to confront the climate crisis. Peak hurricane season is here, and climate change, driven by fossil fuel pollution, is making these storms stronger, deadlier, and more frequent than ever before. Hurricanes, wildfires, and extreme weather events are devastating our communities and economy, and it’s working Americans who are left to cover the damages, not the billionaire polluters responsible for the destruction. It’s time for Congress to act. The fossil fuel industry has been lying to the public for years about the damage their emissions cause, all while driving us toward climate catastrophe. Instead of paying what they owe for the damage, Big Oil is making record profits and sticking the rest of us with the bill. We need Congress to take action by introducing a Make Polluters Pay Act, holding fossil fuel companies accountable for the damages their emissions have caused.

We seek your support for mountain bike trails to be built in DeForest. Mountain bike trails are built on uneven, hilly terrain. Trails are similar to hiking trails. They are 18-24" wide and made of natural surfaces: mostly packed dirt, but also rocks and fallen trees. Currently, there are no mountain bike trails in the community. In order to access mountain bike trails, participants must drive to another community to engage in this activity.

The Issue Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha, Wisconsin has a written policy that states they will cooperate and assist U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) federal agents, even without a warrant ordering them to do so.  This rash and divisive policy puts the livelihood of staff and students at risk, subjugating them to the possibility of ICE agents interfering with education and worship to investigate, detain, or arrest students and staff without a warrant, or knowledge of local law enforcement agencies.  Here’s the law : Schools must comply with a judicial warrant signed by a federal or state judge. The warrant must explicitly identify the specific school location and the individuals or records being sought. Schools are not required to comply with an administrative warrant, which is issued by an immigration officer, not a judge. If ICE wants to interview a student, schools should obtain appropriate parental consent before allowing it. Without this, students and staff are at a risk of unlawful detainment and detention— as we have seen all over this country.  On October 20th, 2025, Catholic Memorial High School terminated social studies teacher Rico Camacho, who serves as an Alderman for the City of Waukesha. Camacho shared a photo on Facebook in which residents had assumed ICE agents were in Waukesha. The post was later proven to be false, and therefore, Camacho took accountability, responsibility, and publicly apologized. The freeman capitalized on this story, which later, Catholic Memorial used to terminate Camacho’s teaching contract, based on discrimination for one of their teachers mentioning ICE, privately on social media. The City of Waukesha’s City Attorney stated that Camacho acted as a private resident, and the post was not tied to his work as an Alderman. Camacho did not reference his occupation or employer in the post, and Catholic Memorial on their own, ruled to terminate Camacho just days after the Freeman’s multiple stories flooded local news. We are asking that you stop all donations to the is unjust school now!!!! We want to let all Catholic Memorial families know that Catholic Memorial has policies in place that don't protect our children.  Finally, we are demanding a public apology from Catholic Memorial High School for the discriminatory and wrongful termination of Rico Camacho.  Sign this petition, and ask Donors to stop their donations immedietly due to the dangerous enviornment their students may be a part of. 

About This Petition This petition was started by tenants in Casa Verde SD who have been dealing with ongoing problems in the building. Many of us have experienced issues like the broken elevator, repeated fire alarm disturbances, and long waits for maintenance or help when something goes wrong. We’re signing this petition to show management that these problems affect all of us and need to be taken seriously. We’re asking for: • Regular testing of the fire alarm. • PROMPT attention to all future maintenance issues. • Fair compensation for the fire alarm incidents, maintenance delays, and disruptions If you’ve dealt with any of these issues too, please sign so we can make our voices heard together.
