Suspend MSU's Accreditation Until ALL Past Abuse is Acknowledged & RemediedThe Higher Learning Commission's accreditation of Michigan State University suggests that MSU actually meets HLC's criteria at a high level. Recent events on campus, and the administration's cover-up of well-documented sexual abuse, demonstrate that MSU DOES NOT CURRENTLY MEET HLC accreditation criteria--with significant problems existing in every survey domain. We therefore ask that HLC suspend MSU's Accredited Status until the university addresses all past instances of abuse and harassment on campus--including an instance in which MSU administrators silenced a group of students who were complaining about campus safety by threatening to out several of them as homosexual. MSU has demonstrable failings in all 5 HLC assessment areas, and it demonstrates a complete failure on every "Core Component" of The HLC's Second Criterion, "Integrity: Ethical and Responsible Conduct." The below-signed believe that it is essential that HLC suspend MSU's accreditation until it acknowledges past cover-ups, fires the employees who were involved (including past MSU President Lou Anna K. Simon), and remedies every instance of harassment and abuse that was covered-up by the university's senior leadership. We believe that taking this action is necessary for HLC to maintain its credibility as a major accrediting agency whose first duty must always be to the public good.10 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Martin J. Save American workers' Pensions!!!Proposed cuts are made possible by the Multiemployer Pension Reform Act of 2014, a law that torpedoes 40 years of established federal private pension law and could ultimately impact millions of American workers and their families. Please stand with retired truck drivers, dock workers, office workers, spouses, widows, and others who could be affected by the law by urging the Treasury Department to reject the unfair and ill-conceived cuts proposed by the Central States Pension Fund. That's why I signed a petition to U.S. Treasury Department, which says: "Please reject any cuts to retiree pensions. If allowed, these pension cuts would be catastrophic to individuals and their families and could lead to cuts in other severely underfunded multiemployer pension plans – affecting more than a million people. These retirees fear they will lose their homes, won’t be able to pay for medicine, and won’t be able to support their families. The requested cuts, made possible by the Multiemployer Pension Reform Act of 2014, are extreme, ill-conceived and won’t solve the problems. We call on the Treasury Department to reject the application and to work with Congress toward a bi-partisan solution to fix underfunded multiemployer plans while preserving pension promises to workers, retirees, and their families." Will you sign the petition too? Click here to add your name: http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/demand-that-congress-5?source=s.fwd&r_by=15567165 Thanks!3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Raymond Pasquini

End Congressional Salaries- Demand they work as VolunteersWhereas the public should not bear the burden and expenses of Congressional Legislators who hold contempt for the people of the US by working only 44% of the year: We oppose the following 1) $175,000, Government Salary, with recent salary increases. 1) Full Pay Retirement after serving only one Term in Office. 2) Generous Health Benefits (while opposing Federal Health Benefits for all). 3) Daily free meals in Congressional dining rooms, free parking, two Home(s) allowances, lavish International travel… 4) Exempt themselves from the Laws, such as (Sequestration). 5) Willingness to throw over 700,000 Americans out of work through Sequestration; while opposing Extended Unemployment. 6) Receive Social Security while serving in Office, yet demonize Social Security for others. 7) Remain obstinate against raising new Federal Revenues, yet insist upon Deficit slashing budgets affecting programs such as Meals on Wheels for Seniors, and other programs affecting millions of Children and other Americans, especially those at minimum wage and below. 8) Spending each day raising funds for the next Congressional race, as opposed to tending to the work of the people. Due to the lack of productivity and the contempt for US citizens we oppose Congressional Members receipt of a Salary from US Taxpayers and demand that Members serve as Volunteers.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Citizen Jones

Stop the Hospital's Board of Trustees from Hurting Coshocton Families!Coshocton County Memorial Hospital announced on May 7, 2014 that the Board of Trustees voted to close the Obstetrics Department effective June 27, 2014. The Board claims they made its decision based on lack of profitability, market share and the decline in deliveries for only a 2-year period of time. Is it Coshocton's interests or the Board's interest at play here? • Did you know that there is a 5-year Management Agreement between Coshocton County Memorial Hospital and Genesis HealthCare Systems? • Did you know that Max Crown, Chairperson of the Hospital's Board is also an ex officio member of Genesis HealthCare System’s Board? Likewise, Matt Perry, CEO of Genesis HealthCare System, also has a spot on the Hospital’s Board. • Did you know that Coshocton County Memorial Hospital will be referring future OB services directly to Genesis HealthCare Systems? What other services will the Board decide to close in Coshocton and send to Genesis? Coshocton County Memorial Hospital is a non-profit corporation. Perhaps the Board should focus less on the bottom-line and more on the services they will deprive this community of! Closing the OB Department in Coshocton will force current and future patients to seek alternatives which are at least 30-40 minutes away. In cases of emergency, that is not enough time for mothers and their babies. Much of our community members simply do not have the means to travel to alternatives other than Coshocton.250 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Molly

"Control by the Mass" Petition"CONTROL BY THE MASS" PETITION 1. I propose the Installation of a new branch in our government, which would be a “Public Opinions Advisory Board” (POAB). This branch would consist of a lifelong appointment of 100 seniors (Not based on their age) with granted powers over the entire Congress and House of Representatives. The POAB would be monitoring public opinions and other functions. Without affecting the normal operations of government, require resignation on all dysfunction and out-of-control government departments and officials (Such as below 20% on opinions polls of their job performances), All Departments such as FDA, SEC, FED, Supreme Court Justices, U.S. Congress and Representatives... are required to conform to their public mandates and opinion polls. When resigned, strip of their accumulated government pension earned while in their prospective position. 2. Recognizing all politicians and government officials should never called LAW-MAKER, they were elected to oversee and draft the legislations (Create the environment) to be ultimately decided by only citizen elections, a true majority ruling, not the special interests. Reform campaign contribution laws, only Taxpayer- funds allowed for all election campaigns. 3. Mandatory of politicians above certain levels to attend Public Services Statesmanship School (Continue Education), national, regional and state level. These petitions, if allowed to started, will grow by itself. And if you're excited by these ideas, work smart, call and pass it on to 5 more people at least please!3 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Leonard Lee

REQUEST TO INVESTIGATE PATTERN OR PRACTICE OF MISCONDUCT OF MONTGOMERY MUNICIPAL COURT EMPLOYEEThe City of Montgomery jail population has significantly increased because of many African Americans being accused of not paying traffic tickets although they allege that they have paid. Some individuals have lost jobs because of being arrested on the charges of unpaid tickets and then released after the City of Montgomery finds out later that they have been paid. These types of unreported incidents make it appear as if a larger scaled cover up is taking place. Evidently there is not a check and balance system in place at these pay windows. If there are skilled employees in the management and supervisory positions while receiving millions of dollars on fines as anticipated and received through the City of Montgomery Annual Budget Report this maybe more involved than arrested. According to the FY 2012 City of Montgomery Budget the Total Anticipated Amount of Fines and Forfeitures $12,500,000 ( Ord. No 41-2011 Budget for 2012, pg. 9). The integrity of this office relies on the integrity of ALL Employees. The request is to look at ALL Accounts that Christopher Randall Morgan has received and “posted” since being employed with the Montgomery Municipal Court System. On November 5, 2012 the Montgomery Advertiser did a story after many requests from concerned citizens via Facebook. http://www.montgomeryadvertiser.com/article/20121205/NEWS/312050058/Montgomery-court-employee-accused-forging-receipt-after-resident-paid-fine?odyssey=tab|topnews|text|&nclick_check=140 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Karen Jones

First steps to fix our countryDo the following in order: 1) Reverse Citizens United, or change the Constitution to disallow corporations to make campaign contributions of any kind. Publicly finance all election campaigns. End corporate influence in our elections. 2) Bring manufacturing back to the U.S. by pulling out of the WTO, and abolishing NAFTA/GATT. Put equalizing tariffs on all goods entering the United States. Remove the tax incentives that make sending American jobs overseas profitable. 3) Reinstate Glass-Steagall to get the banks and Wall Street back under control. 4) Shut down the American military empire by closing at least some if not most of its unneccessary 460 overseas military bases. 5) End oil and farm subsidies to corporations that are already insanely profitable. 6) Go to a country-wide single-payer health plan so all Americans can have affordable health care. 7) Even before the deficit is gone, and the budget is balanced, develop and implement the ultimate world energy solution: Space-based Solar. 8) Make education free to all Americans who have the desire and ability to take advantage of it. This is the ultimate investment we can make as a nation. These actions, alone, will end the death grip that modern-day robber barons have on our country, and will bring peace and prosperity back to the majority of Americans.11 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Don Saito
