  • Petition to Protect Grays Harbor from dangerous Crude By Rail proposals.
    Due to its explosive nature and the potential danger to our communities and the environment, crude oil should not be transported by rail through Washington State, stored in earthquake/tsunami zones or shipped by tanker through our waters. The permits for the three storage terminals in Grays Harbor should be denied.   • Give Federal Unions Full Bargaining RIghts
    It is grossly unfair to federal workers not to negotiate wages, pensions, staffing, and healthcare benefits and premiums while most state and municipal workers can. As a result, new members of Congress seek more and more cuts unaware of the sacrifices of the past. It is also hypocritical for the President and Congress to publicly support bargaining for public employee unions while tying the hands of federal workers. We are demanding a bill to give us those rights ASAP.

  • Making Social Security Stable
    In order to preserve the present Social Security system; (1) all Offshore Corporate Tax Loopholes will be closed with the new infusion of taxes being applied to the Social Security Fund and (2) any person or family claiming Annual Income over one million dollars, in the form of salary, dividends and/or interest, must pay back any Social Security payments received within their taxes and these monies will be applied back to the Program.

  • VOTE BY MAIL ONLY IF ANY FEDERAL OFFICE IS ON THE BALLOT
    I propose a Federal law that would require all States if there are candidates for Federal office on the ballet vote by mail only like Oregan and Washington do now. These two states had a voter turnout of 80% in 2012. Vote by mail is more economical, eliminates long lines,eliminates new voter ID laws and efforts to suppress the vote,permits early voting and will make recounts easier and more accurrate.
