    We are concerned that the LGHS Athletic Director, Kenny Perrotti, has removed Ricardo Garcia as the head wrestling coach to enable rich LG families to "buy" a new head coach and ruin the brotherhood and WINNING team that Ricardo Garcia has created in three years as our head coach. We are calling on the school district to conduct a thorough investigation into any allegations made by Mr. Perrotti concerning Mr. Garcia to the Governing Board.

If the BLM moves forward with the planning process at this time, it will likely be a colossal waste of time and money for an already strapped agency, as these new proclamations are expected to be overturned by the courts. The BLM should spend its money on protecting Grand Staircase-Escalante and its natural and cultural resources. Thank you,

  • Help Us Save A Local Veteran Support Organization From The Zoning Board
    This property houses a non profit volunteer veteran support organization. The property was sold and indicated on survey maps that it is located within a dual zone and all federal and state documents were provided to the town before it was classified.The Zoning Board of the Town of Conesus, New York, has re-rolled the property location after the land was purchased and is trying to state that only part of the property is dual zoned and therefore not permitted to operate within the the district.

  • State of California: Strictly enforce ivory ban law!
    Every fifteen minutes, poachers kill one African Elephant for its tusks to be sold as ivory. That is about 100 African Elephants each day. And to make matters worse, California is the second biggest buyer of ivory in the United States. New York is the first, but they are passing stricter laws enforcing the prohibition of ivory. Demand that California makes these same changes to help save African Elephants, who will be extinct in a few decades if nothing changes!

    Baseball is America's favorite pastime, but if you're a fan, it's not possible to buy an American-made hat or shirt to show your team pride. As incoming MLB Commissioner (after Bud Selig's retirement in January 2015), Rob Manfred should initiate the switch from Chinese and other countries' manufacturers to ones based in the U.S. to produce official MLB fan attire. A show of patriotism like this would be a great way to usher in a new era of baseball.

    U.S. President Barack Obama has proposed expanding the pristine Pacific Remote Islands Marine National Monument from 87,000 sq mi. to 782,000 sq mi., but is considering an exemption for US Navy Midrange Sonar, the sport fishing industry and the US Tuna fleet. An estimated 99.6 % of the sanctuary is not currently protected from Sonar! Tell our leaders: No Navy Sonar, no sport or commercial fishing, no exceptions in the new expanded monument!
