  • Abolish the Electoral College
    We, the people, call for a New Constitutional Convention. We must amend the Constitution and Bill of Rights. We can additionally create a Bill of Ethics and Honesty that could enable us, the populous, to actually elect anyone directly with our vote and not be victim to re-apportioning and gerrymandering. If we begin with state gatherings we can create flexible platforms for amendment propositions and even, with e-communication, reach some level of consensus on what they will be.

    DO NOT repeal the healthcare bill. You represent all the American people, especially the middle class. If you have new ideas to add, create an addendum bill but do not put us through another year of bickering on healthcare when we have gained significant benefits from the current bill.   • Rehabilitated Juvenile Murderers
    Fr Greg Goyle, SJ, author of "Tattoos on the Heart" (Free Press, New York, 2010) has demonstrated that gang kids in East Los Angeles with a criminal recored of murder have been successfully rehabitlitated to gainful employment in The Homeboys Bakery and work side-by-side with members of former enemy gangs. They recently opened a restaurant in the Los Angeles City Hall operated by these same juvenile criminals. These kids need a second chance.

  • Petition to Reverse Attendance Policy for HACA Elementary Program and All Online Secondary Programs
    This petition asks Superintendent Tammy Wolicki and the HASD School Board to reverse the recent amendment to the attendance policy for the HACA Elementary Program and all online secondary programs. We would like the attendance policy to return to the standard of completion of all work by the following day as the standard for marking students present. The new mandatory standard, which requires students to be present in live, synchronous sessions is unfair to working parents and the students receiving education online.

  • Justice for Martin Gugino in Buffalo NY
    Fire the Buffalo Police Department Emergency Response Team. 57 officers resigned from the team in show of support for offices suspended without pay who pushed and seriously wounded an elderly man. They still get paid although not on the team any longer. This was abuse of power and excess force. Demand they are all fired so a new type of team can be formed. Pay restitution to this gentleman for his hospital bills along with pain and suffering.
