Whereas our nation needs an enormous infrastructure investment to become the most efficient and energy independent world economy and Whereas taxation will not provide the needed revenue, and Whereas, during World War II, the Federal Reserve System financed the war by buying Treasury bonds "at any price and in any quantity", Therefore we, the undersigned, do petition Congress, the President, and the Chairman of the Federal Reserve System to finance infrastructure by having the Federal Reserve buy 100-year zero percent Treasury bonds in such a quantity and at such a schedule that will minimize the time required to create the world's best infrastructure, including free education to the highest level, free medical care for all, and the most modern transportation and communication systems, but will also not cause undue inflation.

Where are the Funds for helping Single Mothers.

Congress must not compromise the health of American women in order to appease the Catholic Church. Freedom of religion means the freedom of the individual to worship as she sees fit; it does not mean allowing a religious institution to bully American women into following its doctrines, rather than their own consciences.

As you are aware, our Town Government is in the process of considering turning the water and sewer services over to the City of Salisbury. We already know that Salisbury will only continue to raise the rates, rates that we cannot afford now. If you are concerned and believe that action must be taken now to give us relief from the outrageous water rates, please sign your name to this petition to demand that our Town Leaders" CEASE AND DESIST" from any discussions with the City of Salisbury until a full feasibility study can be completed to offer the residents of East Spencer a higher quality service at reduced rates. A community forum is being planned to bring in professional expertise that believes the current system can be upgraded to offer better services and save the residents money for the services they are getting now. Please discuss this petition with family and friends, and encourage them to quickly sign the petition, which will be presented publicly to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen. We need to know if they are really working for us or someone else.
