Thank you to everyone who spoke out against the rezoning of 103 Evergreen to R-4.
However, a new problem has emerged. According to Providence GIS Maps, 215 Camp Street, located across the street, has been granted R-4 zoning. This change was sneakily included in the Comp Plan without any community consultation.
Beyond the ethical concerns, this move raises legal questions. How can the city spot-zone a single parcel? Why grant it to only this developer?
Councilwoman Sue Anderbois has deliberately ignored any discussion on this topic for months.
