This is important because the condition of property does not coincide with the price of rent . Chase Arbor Apartment complex are scamming people into signing these lease agreements and pay unnecessary fees. If future residents were informed of these issues beforehand, many would choose not live at Chase Arbor. Residents deserve a safe comfortable home to stay in.

Workers who helped build and maintain the Tesla Austin plant say they were exploited and exhausted from the work. One worker who had his hand mangled at work said superintendents would pretend as if nothing happened. Safety training and documentation were also part of the agreement Musk made to get the tax breaks, but researchers say that some of those documents were filled out fraudulently.  Musk’s other company SpaceX is fighting to undo worker protections and get rid of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the federal agency in charge of worker and union protections. Recently, Musk filed a lawsuit to destroy the NLRB, ridiculously calling it “the very definition of tyranny.” Elon Musk is no friend of workers. One electric vehicle expert says this is “more than hiring inefficiency and restructuring … Musk is cleaning house.”  It should be a cautionary tale, but Musk’s company xAI recently announced they’re planning to build “the world’s largest supercomputer” in Memphis, TN and local lawmakers are already rushing to applaud him for creating good jobs. Whatever promises Elon Musk made to get the tax breaks, Tesla should not continue to get these massive tax breaks while it’s firing thousands and not taking safety seriously. 

To slow down speeders, and less accidents from happening due to blind spots.

The recent spike in car thefts in the Shipyard not only disrupts our daily lives but also erodes the sense of community and security that we cherish. When we, as residents, are forced to live in fear of our properties being stolen, it undermines our quality of life and well-being. This issue transcends individual losses and affects the entire community. When crime rates rise, it impacts property values, community trust, and overall safety. By joining together, we can amplify our voices and ensure that our concerns are heard by those in positions of power. Collective action is crucial to driving the changes needed to protect our neighborhood and prevent future incidents. By addressing the specific needs of youth, we aspire to play a vital role in creating a better future for the next generation!

The citizens of Harrisburg impacted by the seemingly irrational decision to remove all trees through the upcoming city water, sewer, sidewalk project are fed up! Many of your residents only moved to their homes because of the mature trees in a quaint neighborhood. These trees are historic and if you only spoke to some of your residents who still live in their homes and planted the trees themselves, you would know how devastating this is. We understand you have a right to the easements; we understand sidewalks are safer. We do not understand why simply because you have a right to an entire easement, you are choosing to use the entirety of the easement, thereby necessitating the removal of our trees. We hear you would be putting in sidewalks, we came home to the pink ribbons, but many of us did not even receive communication that the trees are planned to be removed! Some of the trees marked for removal are in the middle of yards! We demand answers and pray you can see the impact this is having on those who wish for progress without destroying history. Harrisburg already has lost much of its historic landmarks and charm in the name of progress, how is there not a middle ground? Help us find a solution together.

With nearly 20,000 stores across 48 states, Dollar General and other discount retailers have become ubiquitous, particularly in low-income and rural areas. Often, they are the only retail option available, especially in food deserts—areas where affordable food is limited. These fraudulent practices further exploit the very people who depend on these stores the most.  Dollar General's price manipulation isn't just a minor inconvenience; it's a calculated scheme driven by corporate greed that exploits our communities and undermines trust in retail fairness. Our communities deserve better.  Join in fighting for justice and ensure that companies like Dollar General can't take advantage of everyday shoppers. 

Trump’s first term was chaotic and incompetent. But this time, MAGA is prepared with a detailed plan to quickly seize power and ruthlessly reshape America. Project 2025 is a 920-page document authored by Christian nationalists that provides a step-by-step blueprint to impose the MAGA agenda on every aspect of Americans’ lives and make Trumpism the rule of law. Their goal is the elimination of our freedoms and protections: eliminating Social Security and Medicare, corporate regulations, environmental protections, rights for LGBTQ+ people and religious minorities, contraception and IVF, resources we need for public education, and more.  Their plan also includes systematically sabotaging our elections for their own benefit. And they want to dismantle our democracy and its checks and balances by centralizing power to the White House, giving the president control of previously independent agencies, such as the Federal Communications Commission and the Federal Trade Commission, and even the Department of Justice. As one expert, Mary Guy, warned in response to Project 2025, "Democracies have crumbled before, and that’s on the verge of happening here." Project 2025 details a concerted plan for how the MAGA movement seeks to control us, decide our futures for us, and take us backward. Instead of representing "We the People", they want to rule over us and for their corporate interests.  We deserve to know where our elected leaders stand on this extreme, dangerous blueprint. It’s time we sound the alarm about this MAGA vision and demand all Republicans in Congress go on record with their position on Project 2025. Our south San Diego community need to join us to ensure transparency and accountability, and to advocate for the proper allocation of the Special Education funds to benefit all children who rely on them. We need homes, not barriers. Any opportunity to remove a barrier and add a home, we should take. Lets push to have ED 1's initial scope reinstated and help combat the housing crisis in Los Angeles.

There's strength in numbers! Let's come together and urge our elected officials to do the right thing. Those of us who are fortunate enough to have a comfortable place to live owe it to those of us who are less fortunate. We can no longer turn a blind eye to the homeless situation in our beautiful county. If we allow their encampments to be torn down, where will they go?
