MFF Action is working to end wealth-based jailing once and for all and put the Minnesota Freedom Fund out of business.
In 2021, Minnesota Freedom Fund paid 647 pre-trial bails, totaling more than $6 million. But we know that reducing systemic harms by paying pre-trial bails is not enough to finally end the cash bail system in Minnesota. That’s why we launched MFF Action to work through lobbying, advocacy, and education to create lasting, transformative, and systemic change in our racist, wealth-based pre-trial and immigration systems.
