2028 Mandela Barnes for US Senate Rematch
Wisconsin Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes lost a very close race for US Senate despite national money being diverted from his race in October. His loss consisted of an exactly 1-point margin and the difference of less than 28,000 votes to GOP incumbent Ron Johnson in a tough midterm cycle in 2022.
The 2022 campaign was admittedly imperfect and had weaknesses it was unable to overcome. But I believe based on the candidate's quality, talent, and skill, alongside a great team of people around him, a 2028 rematch can be more successful.
Mandela Barnes knows what it is like to struggle, being the son of a working class Milwaukee family and coming from one of the most incarcerated zip codes in the country.
As a state legislator, he took on predatory lenders and fought right-to-work laws in Wisconsin as tall as the odds were.
