A frack-free Christmas

Victory! The creator of this petition declared the campaign a success. You can still sign the petition to show support.

Your polluting fracking operation next to Gary Baumgardner’s home in Union Township is about to ruin their annual Christmas dinner tradition. Gary’s granddaughter and her parents can’t attend this yearly tradition due to the overwhelming pollution.

Don't be a grinch this Christmas. Shut down your operation for one day so the family can enjoy the holiday together.

Why is this important?

The holidays should be a time for family and tradition—but the noise, pollution, and health threat of fracking may spoil Gary Baumgardner’s plans. His 9-month old granddaughter has been ordered by doctors to stay away from the home while the drilling rigs are operating. [1]

In a perfect world, fracking should be ceased every day and Gary and his family should never have to breath the toxic air, put up with the disruptive noise, or fear for their health because of this unwanted neighbor.

But surely every family deserves a quiet day together to uphold tradition for the holidays. Sadly, EQT refuses to shutdown their operation for just one day so a family can continue its Christmas tradition together.
