A NEW EQUALITY

1. Raise the minimum wage immediately to $10 per hour and increase by $1 per hour per year until we reach $15 per hour.
2. The federal budget will be balanced within four years or all members sitting in Congress at the time will not be eligible when they come up for re-election.
3. Social Security will not be available for those individuals who had an adjusted gross income in each of the past two years of $200,000 and couples of $250,000.
4. All citizens will have reasonable access to health insurance. Congressmen and women will have the same healthcare as is given to veterans.
5. Clean air with total pollution controls on all factories and power plants will be enforced.
6. The miles per gallon requirements will be increased to 75 mpg for trucks and suv’s and 100 mpg for cars within 5 years.
7. All Congressmen and women will no longer have pensions, but will be switched to Social Security at the same rules as all citizens.
8. All of Congress will have a maximum of 3 terms.
9. The income tax will be increased for adjusted gross income over $500,000 per year to 45% of the amount over $500,000 and over $1,000,000 per year to 50%.
10. Campaign contributions to any candidate, PAC or political fund will be limited to $500.
