ABOLISH FELONY MURDER RULE
Thousands of young People are Growing old in Prisons for Crimes they did not commit ..(DOING LIFE).. for murders they did not committ.The Law gives life to anyone that was involved in a felony in which a person was killed..altho an admitted drug dealer shot my sons friend and he and his roommates... (One claiming his roomate said they had to get their story straight).. they said my Son and his friend were trying to rob them of their drugs and so the renter of the house Shot his friend in the face..and my son escaped the house with his life ..No drugs or money ...just his life but.. has been sentenced to life.. the other 3 were involved in felonies selling drugs but none of them were arrested.. This law has taken my sons life .. the day before this happened he drew a pay check .. unlike these guys that he tried to buy coke from.. This Law is wrong and needs to be abolished. It is Unconstitutional!I want My son to serve the time for the crime he committed that night.make the drug dealer pay for the life he took!
Why is this important?
Because it is a law that has imprisoned MANY people that had no intention of hurting anyone.. were in the wrong place at the wrong time .A drug Deal Gone Bad, if you will! It is Unconstitutional and cruel and unusual punishment! The time should fit the Crime . Please Do Away with this Law!!My son has a History with drugs and was doing so good..ran into a friend from the ole days... went to a strip Club and almost didn't make it home. Well he didn't actually ...he ended up in Prison! Please abolish this Law.. Ryan Holle was at home asleep and a friend borrowed his car.. Hes doing Life as well! this is just 2 of thousands of unbeleavable stories.. It's WRONG Sir It is NOTHING BUT WRONG and someone needs to fix it! Please be The One..
