Accessiblity for state parks
State parks should have paths that are accessible, for the disabled, and for people in a wheelchair. Every person should have an equal chance to enjoy this state's natural beauty!
Why is this important?
Loving nature has always been an important part of my life. But now that I am in a wheelchair at the age of 18, needing to be amongst nature is vital to my physical and mental health. Nature provides JOY, RESPITE, and PEACE to many who seek out its beauty. Individuals with physical disabilities, such as myself, don't always have access to their state or national parks due to the lack of ACCESSIBILITY for all state and national parks. I would like to appeal to all physically challenged individuals and those who care about them to sign this petition.
