Why is this important?
The recent school shootings have caused many to call for increased gun regulations, but attacking the weapon used in these tragedies will not address the root causes driving children to pick up a gun in the first place. Instead of using these incidents as a crutch for gun control, we need to focus on providing resources to address the actual psychological problems affecting our children.
