Regarding: Kostner, Belmont-Diversey
Dear Alderwoman Santiago,
I am concerned about the negative effects on Kenneth Ave if Kostner becomes a one way:
-increased traffic
-increased noise
-decreased air quality from the increase in vehicle emissions
-increased parkway litter from the increase in vehicle traffic
-decrease in residential property values, as busy streets are less desirable
-decrease in the general safety of street, due to the increase in vehicle traffic. There are many families with children on Kenneth, including a day care for young children
-increased chances parked vehicles on Kenneth will be burdened with "hit and run" damage (broken mirrors, exterior damage, etc)
I do support viable alternatives presented, such as allowing cars to park on the curb on Kostner to increase street width.
I do not support Kostner becoming a one way.

Why is this important?
Neighborhood safety!
