There is a refugee crisis happening right now and America can help. Let's tell Congress we care about and want to help frightened families trying to leave the Middle East.
Why is this important?
I still remember the pride I felt when I first learned this quote:
“Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.”
