An Act to End Weave
On this, the 19th day, of the month of November, of the year of our Lord 2011,
Whereas, we are the male gender of this society;
Whereas, we are charged with approaching females;
Whereas, the accessory in question has been treated as a threat safety on both a national and public level;
Whereas, we hold the power to interpret beauty;
Whereas, we have the right to chose the mindset and morals under which we want to raise our daughters;
Whereas, we have the responsibility to educate our sons on the qualities of a near perfect wife;
We, men of sound mind, and in one accord, do hereby see it fit to produce and circulate this petition, with the intent to ban false hair products, commonly known as weave or extensions, from being sold at a commercial level. Other than for medical purposes, proof of which must be demonstrated by a medical prescription by a licensed and practicing medical doctor, we support that all such hair products be removed and production be ceased.
We deem relaxers to be the lesser of the two cosmetic evils, consider false hair products as a plague to the minds of females and the forefront of the identity crisis of women descendant of enslaved Africans in these United States of America, and therefore devote of energy and efforts in search of a medium through which we can rid both our community and society at large of such a nemesis.
Such is our resolve, and such is the opinion of the below signed:

Why is this important?
This shall serve as a voice of all men who stand in protest of the lies and propaganda of weave, and shall be our united stand against such untruths.
