Andru Volinsky For Governor
Executive Councilor Andru Volinsky is an accomplished attorney who fought against the death penalty and to make education a constitutional right in New Hampshire. He joined the New Hampshire Retirement Coalition to make sure retirement security and pension benefits were there for aging New Hampshire residents, volunteered and worked with the NH ACLU, and led efforts as state counsel to fight overpaid healthcare premiums before being elected to New Hampshire's Executive Council in 2016.
As Governor, Volinsky would work to continue his unequivocal support for public education as a right, combat income inequality seen in his state today, address the climate crisis for a better economy, stand alongside New Hampshire workers, raise the minimum wage to a living wage, codify reproductive health, protect voting rights and marriage equality, and combat the state's opioid and fentanyl crises.
It is clearer than ever an anti-establishment populist candidate like Andru Volinsky is needed at such a time for New Hampshire. For too long, Democrats have come up drastically short in easily winnable races against Chris Sununu and Kelly Ayotte. It is now time to look to a Democrat with a different approach to finally flip Concord's governor mansion for Democrats and build a legislative majority a Democratic Governor would need to get things done in Concord.
