Enact firm animal neglect, animal abuse and animal cruelty laws in all 50 U.S. states. No more "slap on the wrists" punishments for offenders.
Why is this important?
I am starting this petition because our nation needs to be far more tough on those who neglect, abuse or inflict cruelty upon an animal. Animals in the United States are treated as far less significant victims of neglect, abuse and cruelty than human victims. This needs to change. Human beings must act as a voice for the voiceless.
