Why is this important?
Of the 22 Republicans on the committee that handles most bills on abortion rights in the House, zero are women .
A record number of women were elected last fall. It’s pathetic that Republican anti-choice leaders didn’t appoint any women in their party to the committee that votes on abortion – health care that only women need.
