ATV Access to Missisquoi and Lamoille Valley Rail Trails
I would like the Governor and Vermont Department of Transportation to open the Missisquoi and Lamoille Valley Rail Trails to allow ATV access. This would improve trail connectivity and bolster the north countries economy.
Why is this important?
Vermont needs to allow ATVs access to the Missisquoi and Lamoille Valley Rail Trails to increase revenue in the northern part of the state. This will connect the ATV communities together allowing Vermont to have a interconnected trail system like Maine and New Hampshire. All ATVs granted access to the rail trails would have to have Trail Access Decal from VASA. If this is allowed it would increase community taxable revenue. Increase property Value and allow more Vermont citizens to enjoy the rail trails.
