Bah humbug on Selling off Thanksgiving

Stop ruining Thanksgiving for families of your employees and shoppers. Thanksgiving should be about giving thanks, not about corporate greed.

Why is this important?

Dear CEO's: This is to inform you that because of your actions of extending Black Friday onto Thanksgiving day, the below signers are pledging not to shop in your stores the whole Thanksgiving weekend! It is outrageous that people who are payed a low wage, some of whom do not get holiday pay, have to leave their families to work in department stores, so Black Friday madness can be extended to Thanksgiving day. (Will we now have people trampled to death on Thanksgiving day?) Thanksgiving should be a time for employees and for consumers to give thanks, not for corporations to squeeze out more profit. Enough of Greed!
