Stop all visitor travel to Hawaiʻi. "Strongly urge" doesnʻt count.

got a similar policy change

Save hospital capacity - beds, healthy staff, protective supplies and ventilators - for residents.
We have an opportunity to slow the spread of the Novel Corona Virus. We can take advantage of our geography and what we have learned from other places hit before us. We already have community spread of the novel Corona virus. There are many more cases than documented due to shortage of testing and delays in obtaining results. Visitors will add to the spread and will become more patients needing care.

Why is this important?

Our economy will be hard hit regardless. It is time to be realistic about the capacity of our health care system. Multiple airlines serving Hawaiʻi are offering "deals." The human cost of those deals will be shifted on to our all our residents, including those in the tourist industry.

Once the ELISA antibody test is widely available, indicating who has already recovered and become immune to the Novel Corona Virus, the policy can be adapted.
