Ban fracking in Taylor county

My goal is to warn residents and neighbors not to sign the papers on fracking that EQT is bringing to their doors. Destroying your water and being exposed to toxic radiation is not worth a momentary monetary reward.

Why is this important?

EQT has been to our door in the middle of the night to try to get us to sign a lease. Fracking mines are popping up on Tappan road, Rock Union road, Holt road, and U.S. Route 250, and now they want to build one in my backyard!

Mike Dean was extremely pushy and even insinuated I could be sued as a "hold out customer " and my land be taken away from me. I will fight any way I can to send those frackers running.

I lived in what used to be a beautiful community called Hickory Hills on Rock Union road Fairmont, WV and now the horses' hay isn't edible. None of the neighbors tomato or plants are even producing anything yet, and it's August 14, 2015. I find dead frogs and snakes often and my dogs won't drink the water that comes from the tap.

There is a fracking mine directly behind Mountain View Water Association on Route 50/250 junction.

It's time to ban fracking now.
