Beauty Salons & Barbershops Soft Reinstatement
Allow a licensed beauty professional to perform a beauty service privately with one client in the salon at a time as of Monday, May 4, 2020. All necessary precautions and sanitation protocols approved by the state of Texas and the local Board of Health will be followed.
Servicing one client at a time (while wearing a mask & gloves) poses little to no risk of spreading the virus, as compared to 20 or more people in a grocery store or 10 plus people at restaurants picking up food, Convenient Stores, hardware stores, liquor stores and etc...

Why is this important?
Our trade can not be done online like so many others. This is the livelihood of our families and ourselves and without being able to perform our licensed trade, we are at risk of losing our businesses, homes, cars, etc... By allowing salons to reopen is a great start in helping the economy come back.
