Bohemian Tax City: Don’t steal our Taxes

Eagle Pass Assistant City Manager Ivan Morua reported to the Eagle Pass City Council at their Tuesday, May 7, 2024 regular meeting that the total amount of money lost by the City of Eagle Pass as a result of the South 57 Music Festival held during April 5-7, 2024 at the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino was a total of $2,253,784 (million),

City of Eagle Pass taxpayers will have to pay for the stunning financial losses of $2,253,784 caused by the South 57 Music Festival founded, supported, and promoted by several City Administration employees and approved by a majority of the City Council in 2023.
