Box elder school district bus routes
The safety of the children should be a top priority for the school district. They have a 2 mile rule for bus routes. Children in our area would have to walk 41 minutes in the dark to get to school on time. On roads that have no sidewalks and cars parked on either side of the road forcing them to walk in the streets. This is not safe for any child and we have been told by the transportation director that safety is not a concern for the bus routes. Something needs to change either on the city side or the school side to offer safe traveling from homes to schools for our children.
Why is this important?
Let’s get our voices heard! We need to stand up for our children and protect them.
