Representative Boehner clearly invited Netanyahu to speak to a joint session of Congress for political reasons; Netanyahu agreed to this for his own political gain. This could jeopardize our efforts to resolve the Iranian nuclear issue through diplomacy. It is your obligation to declare that you will not attend.
Why is this important?
I think it is abhorrent that protocol was breached on such a sensitive issue. For politics to enter the area of diplomacy like this sets a dangerous precedent and should be dealt with immediately.
