The Postal Service is over committing its mail processing model to dictate who and when and how they should process the people's mail. We should be focusing on streamlining our processes rather than cutting our processes, our service is declining to our customers and community, and we can not sustainably continue to operate with degraded service. Ultimately the USPS will not be able to recap any additional new revenue with this type of business model.
Smarter, leaner, quicker process models are more efficient, more effective then a larger, centralized processing model. Costs are escalating, and are hidden with the price increases. Our profits should be larger with adaptive simple process changes, not centralized processing!
