Michigan lawmakers have passed a law stating women will have to buy specific insurance ahead of time if they need to have an abortion for any reason, including cases of rape and/or incest. We need 160,000 signatures by March 22, 2014, to stop this law and bring this issue to the voters of Michigan.
Why is this important?
How are women supposed to know ahead of time if they are going to be raped or be a victim of incest? If this law is not opposed, these women will have to pay out of their pockets for ALL medical if they need an abortion, including if there are complications afterward. We need to stop this and bring this to the voters of Michigan to vote on.
