Build temporary housing for the homeless in Irvine.
Hundreds of homeless citizens in Irvine are being forced out of their home city off the streets. Granted, we do not want a large homeless population (or any at all). But rather than forcefully moving them to Santa Ana, where they will just be moved back to Irvine, we should make temporary housing that offers full shelter and facilities and job training and rehab. We can build these using extra tax dollars being wasted on building tens of new parks in places where they are not needed.
Why is this important?
I have always had a good life, and never knew what it would be like to live on the streets. I can only imagine that it is a tough way of life and want to do as much as possible to help those in need.
