California Prison Inmate Reduction; Revisiting nonviolent Marijuana convictions

Direct the state Legislature and Governor to pass legislation that would clear the convictions of current inmates who's crimes would no longer be considered illegal in the state of California. For example, Marijuana possession.

Why is this important?

To the service of justice and in accordance of federal directives to lower the California state prison population, the State legislature and Governor should work toward the release of non-violent inmates that who's crimes are no-longer considered illegal.
