To: President Donald Trump and The United States House of Representatives
Celebrate Medicare--Expand and Improve it!
Tell Congress and the President that, instead of cuts, we should expand Medicare to cover everyone living in the United States. "Everyone In No One Out!"
Medicare Turns 48 this month! Help celebrate longer, healthier lives and basic health security by asking your Representative to cosponsor H.R. 676: The Expanded and Improved Medicare For All Act which would establish a not-for-profit healthcare program.
Medicare has provided longer, healthier lives and basic health security for two generations of seniors, providing access to healthcare among those over 65 to almost 100%--having the single greatest impact reducing racial inequities in health care in our country's history. Medicare is cheaper and much more popular than private health insurance. Expanding Medicare to the entire population would save more than enough to eliminate cost sharing (co-pays and deductibles), and guarantee comprehensive coverage for all.
