We need a noise barrier between our homes and 35W. After construction, the cars will pass less than 30 feet from our homes. There is also no protection from vehicles striking our homes if they accidentally fly off the road, such as the incident that made me start this petition.
Why is this important?
Vehicles are traveling extremely close to our homes and will be even closer once the MN pass lane is built. A semi-truck just flew off the side of the road and would have struck one of our homes except there was a pile of wood chippings from the tree and bush removal to build the new lane.
