Help me in my efforts to change the current law in Marlboro, NJ that prohibits backyard chickens!
Why is this important?
Our efforts are to amend the current code 220-35 (D) 18 which states; Chickens. The raising of chickens shall be permitted on any farm, provided that the area utilized for such chickens is no closer than 100 feet to any property line.
In result, we would like the code to allow:
For 1-8 hens - 22,500 sq foot property
Over 22,500 sq foot property - max is 12 hens
NO ROOSTERS
